POWER STAGES & THEIR GRADES
Stage One
Grade 1: Instinctual only. Powers come into effect when faced with the fight or flee urge. E.g. a wood nymph who is afraid will turn into a tree but later won't be able to transform when she consciously think about it.
Grade 2:
Mostly instinctual. Powers are unstable and sometimes may or may not work when you are thinking about using it. E.g. a shape shifter can turn into their beast form but can't hold it for long.
Grade 3:
Near basic control. Powers are better under your control but not enough that you can control it with great confidence. E.g. a sylph can control the air around her but not for a long enough time to be effective or at a great enough range.
---------
Stage Two
Grade 1:
Basic control. You have control of your powers but they're not as strong as when you can train yourself better. You only have the basic grasp of your powers. E.g. a witch can only use her powers through a spoken spell and with peripherals. Or a dragon can transform into their beast form but won't be able to use their natural magic.
Grade 2: Medium power development. Your powers are developing and you have different variations of your basic level of power. E.g. if you are a sylph, your natural power is air manipulation. You can create basic wind shields and control the air further away from your body.
Grade 3: High power development. Your powers have almost reached true potential and at this stage, you are extremely powerful and can utilise almost every aspect and sub abilities that are connected to your power. E.g. a sylph can create immensely strong wind shields, use pressured air as a weapon, create a vacuum by sucking out air from a particular source and can levitate.
----------
Stage 3
At this stage there are no grades. You have reached the fullest potential of your power and utilise every aspect of it. This stage is mostly reached by the oldest of the eldest Mythos and is next to impossible to reached by halflings (half human, half Mythos).
E.g. a sylph can transform into their natural element, which is air, and still be able to use their powers to the most advantage.
NOTE: ALL MYTHOS ARE BORN IN HUMAN FORM. THIS IS DUE TO SURVIVAL EVOLUTION.
